Does image editing upload my files?

Accepted Answer

No. Images are decoded, drawn on, mosaicked, blurred, and exported locally in your browser. Files are not uploaded to a server.

Which drawing tools are supported?

Rectangle, ellipse, polyline, brush, marker, text, mosaic, blur, and eraser are supported. Rectangles and ellipses can be stroked or filled.

Question 3

Does the eraser remove the original image?

Accepted Answer

No. The eraser deletes annotation objects on the canvas without changing the original image. Mosaic and blur regions can also be selected and deleted, or handled with undo, redo, and reset image.

Question 4

Can I choose the output format?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can export JPG, PNG, or WebP. JPG does not support alpha transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white.
